This is a follow-up to a review from last year. Sometimes a restaurant will change something and become less than it was. Not the Red Apple. The food is consistently good with a variety not found in many buffets. Even if you're not sure you'll like Polish food there's something for you here. You'll find pork, beef, chicken and fish dishes. All kinds of cold salads. Many different sides, as well as several potato dishes. Don't forget the pierogis and dumplings. The desserts are also varied and excellent. Waitresses are attentive and remove plates promptly. The food is as authentic as you can get anywhere. And there's a real, home-made flavor to it all. And did I mention it's probably the best bargain you'll find in Chicago?
