“Great tapas, little drama”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013 via mobile

No wait, table outside, yummy tapas, very good service. Far more accesible than other tapas places we checked out. What's not to like?!

“Tapas Only”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

This restaurant was a taste of Spain without the jet lag and airfare. The menu was very traditional and authentic. Tapas as most people know are "small plates". Emilios serves small portions of tasty treats including: Spanish cheeses and hams, fresh seafood, tortilla espanola and paella (as a main dish) The waiter suggested that we each order at least two plates and that was pretty accurate. In this day of super-size portions, Emilios plates seemed small, but in reality were quite sufficient. If you are looking for a belly-busting experience, you will have to spend quite a bit of money at this place. If you want good quality, authentic Spanish food, this is your place. My only complaint was that the wine prices seemed high, even those "specially priced " ones on the menu.

“Good Food, Good Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

I've been here for lunch and for dinner and both times the food was good and the service was good. Not the most unique and innovative food, but overall this is a much better tapas place than most and a reasonable price.

“Yum yum yum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We liked it so much that we went twice during our last trip to Chicago. The portions are perfect to share and to get a good variety of dishes. The prices are reasonable. The patio is great for a lazy summer night with food and wine. The staff is great and doesn't rush you. We brought our preschooler last visit and they were kind and helped us navigate some kid-friendly options.

“Good Spanish food off Michigan ave.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012 via mobile

Good food, good prices, wonderful service. Right around the corner from Michigan avenue. Fernando was an excellent server with awesome recommendations. We had the goat cheese and marinara dip to start (delicious) and then shared a small portion plate of pollo a las brasas which was also good.
