7 p.m. booking. We skipped appetizers and went straight for the steak. NY strip steaks all around, plus mashed potatoes, french fries, and creamed spinach. They were all on the table by 7:20. We were done by 8. Bill arrived. We left. It just felt so FAST. Granted we didn't have appetizers or dessert.

Steak was amazingly flavorful. Charred on the outside, medium rare on the inside. Perfection.

This restaurant is outstanding. Vibrant bar scene & reservations are strongly recommended. I started out with the shrimp cocktail & the moment I had one you can tell it was fresh. I ended up with the Porterhouse. Usually I order medium well but my server advised me to get medium. Great choice. When in Chicago make it a point to visit Gibson.

I wish I could remember our server's name but she was awesome. She was friendly and knowledgeable about wine. the steaks were cooked to perfection and the portions more than ample. I don't know if the bone-in filet was quite worth the price difference but it was good. Would definitely return.

I was spending a week in Chicago and sampling different cuisine everyday. Gibson's Steakhouse was an incredible experience, from the walls plastered in celebrity autographs to the white clad waiters serving some of the city's finest food. A trip to Gibson's is definitely a pricey adventure, but if your looking for quality go no further. My dinner date and I sampled the menu and found each item to be better than the last, even mashed potatoes seemed like a delicacy there. I highly recommend a trip to Gibson's if your anywhere near the Chicago area; it's worth the drive and the inevitable wait for a table.
