Last night I had the privilege of dining in the Kendall College Culinary School dining room. They use the restaurant to train and hone the skills of student chefs in both savory and pastry areas. On Tuesdays they offer a prefix menu of an appetizer, entree and dessert for $29.00. The wine is also 1/2 price. What's not to like, excellent attentive service, a selection of food that offers something for everyone: meat, seafood, and at least one vegan choice in the appetizer and entree choices. There is an excellent selection of wines. Desserts are divine as well. They offer the prefix on other nights, but there are more limited selections and wine is full price. Gratuities help fund their scholarship program.
The dining room is first class with a total glass encased view of the kitchen and the young chefs plying their craft under the careful supervision of master chef instructors. In all it was a great evening.
