“Great Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Go in to get breakfast on occasion. A wide range of breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and bagels. It won't be fast food, but it will be really excellent, and worth the wait. It is vegetarian friendly too.

“If you are in Hotel near the Mile / Gold Coast go here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

They deliver or you pick up after ordering online. Food is very good, service was out of the world, and very healthy options. Great wine selection as well. If you stay at the Sofitel it is connected, would go there instead of using room service. You will be very happy!

“Unexpected Neighborhood Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a place nestled behind the Sofitel hotel in the Gold Coast section of Chicago. It's perfect for light meals either there or to take out. For those of us staying in nearby hotels it's a great place to pick up a salad, sandwich, wrap or pannini to take out and enjoy in our hotel room. Beats having to eat all meals in a restaurant or from fast-food outlets. Everything is very fresh and prepared to order. There is always a daily special. There is a variety of packaged food items, dairy products, fresh fruit, snacks, nuts, candy, wine and beverages available. We enjoyed their panninis and had big salads made to order. Their deli items looked real tasty too but we did not try any on this visit.

“Loved the deli selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

Only used the deli in here. But used it a few times as it was so nice. Great quality produce. And very nice staff. Would recommend for a snack or takeaway if visiting the city.

“The Cru Wine Bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

We had brunch here on Sunday morning, sitting outside, enjoying the people watching. The service was second to none. The waiter recommending the breakfast burrito, which was positively fantastic. Blueberry pancakes were served with syrup and a blueberry honey glaze. Yum! The B.E.L.T. was lovely to look at and even better to eat. All were served with wonderful roasted potatos, cooked to perfection. The coffee cups and water glasses were never empty. Highly recommend this place for atmosphere, service, and food.
