Headline is a "decent burger joint", but I'd have to continue and say there are many better options in downtown Chicago.
Party: 3 adults. Ate in the “bar” area.
This restaurant is your typical “bar food” establishment. It didn’t really have any distinguishing features, choices or options. Located near Citi and Bank of America corporate buildings, I think they rely upon their location for business more than their choices or atmosphere.
Our table ordered buffalo wings, which were average in every way. Not bad, not notable.
I ordered a bacon/Swiss burger, recommended by the waitress. Sounded good. Burger came minus the bacon. After it was added, the burger was solid and large. What I found interesting is the burger didn’t come with fries and I forgot to ask for some. Another person in the party ordered a “Copper” burger (they have 10 different “styles” of burgers, basically just different toppings). He only ate half, but said it was good. He order the home style fries, which were pretty good.
The tap was broken off and on and it took a while for the table to get their beers. Decent selection of beer on tap.
Keep in mind we sat in the “bar” area. But with that said, there were 3 people servicing an area with may 4 tables and the bar (which had about 10 people at it). Our waitress consistently forgot items, got my order wrong after suggesting it, and would disappear or get distracted talking to friends while we waited for our food or drinks. Overall, poor service.
