“Pretty good food, but a little overpriced.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

My wife and I dined at this restaurant last evening. We both had the set menu which is all that is available and consisted of a starter, second course, fish course, meat course and cheese or dessert. We also had a half bottle of wine ($50) and I had the entry level calvados ($25) after dinner and the bill came to over $400.
All the food was good except the sweetbreads were overcooked and not much flavor.
The cheese course was excellent.
In our opinion it cannot compare with Topolobampo or Frontera for food or with Tru for overall excellent dining.

“Wonderful French restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

This was a great experience in Chicago, full tasting menu with wine pairings. The server was a bit snooty but then relaxed as dinner progressed. Not the best restaurant I've ever been to but well worth the visit.

“classic haute cuisine with an asian flair”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

beautiful intimate space, excellent service, great, though pricey ,wine list.

Wonderful presentation.
reasonable price for 4 course meal($130).
I had seared foie gras, arctic char with shiitake, and duo of veal and pork.
All superb. Dessert a classic Grand Marnier soufflé.
Chef Liccionier came to greet us at the conclusion of the meal.
Memorable.

“délicieux”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Hosted a private dinner in upstairs dining room which was close to perfection. Lovely room, excellent service, delightful wines and delicious meal. No issues accommodating Gluten-free request. The braised beef short rib was the best I've ever had. Smaller portion than expected; however finished entree feeling very comfortable and enjoyed dessert. Expensive but truly a fine dining experience.

“Très bien!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

Yes, this was a very good experience. What you'd expect from a rare fine French dining establishment. In fact, as of this write up, it is only one of four (4) restaurants remaining in the Chicago area that requires a jacket for men.

Save room for the soufflé and, the chocolate varietal at that. It isn't on the menu because it, on occasions, collapses but mine didn't do so until I dug my spoon in to devour the deliciousness.

Make this a special occasion and I highly doubt that you and your party will be disappointed.
