This place is not cheap. If you want cheap find a Holiday Inn Express or something. But you get what you pay for. The location is great...just off Michigan Avenue. The service was OUTSTANDING. When my wife and I checked in we had to stand in line for maybe 5 minutes due to the staff having a small issue with the computers. As a result when we got up to the desk they were very apologetic and upgraded our room to a suite overlooking the Chicago River. And it wasn't like we were upset...a five minute wait was not a big deal, but it was to them.
Sydney the door man, Fidel the bell man, Suzanne at the Front Desk, Michelle I. the butler and the other Michelle at the top floor Club were all outstanding!!! But I would like to especially like to call out Carlos, the Director of Butler Services. We called him late one evening because we needed ice to cool off our bottle of champagne and he was there in a matter of a couple minutes. What a guy!
So if you are looking for a good place to stay in Chicago, I give the Langham two thumbs up!!!
