Description: At Fatpour Tap Works we think to Drink Different. That starts with our Fatpour, a 22 oz frozen mug of one of our 50 beers on tap. Fatpour Tap Works, in the heart of Wicker Park, was created to offer one of Chicago’s largest selections of draft beers and a diverse menu of American classic fare. Through our two story glass keg cooler, highlighted in the center of the room, our guests can watch our tap system stream over 2 miles of beer overhead to the bar and table taps. Fatpour’s chef driven American cuisine features everything from award winning burgers to hand tossed pizzas cooked in our wood burning oven to delicious fried cheese curds (blessed by our Badger faithful) or even fresh Ahi tuna. Our team at Fatpour strives to offer a truly outstanding atmosphere with exceptional service. We strive for every guest to feel like a regular. Fatpour offers table taps allowing you to pour your own beer at your table. We can also accommodate parties and private events of all shapes and sizes. At Fatpour Tap Works, we think to Drink Different. Come enjoy a Fatpour today.

“OK spot, but crowded and multiple issues”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Was in the area with friends and stopped in for a few hours. Seemed OK at first (10pm) and we went upstairs and grabbed a table. It got progressively more crowded and hot over the next 2-3 hrs and all waitress service was stopped. Getting a drink was quite a challenge and once served the quality of the cocktails took a nosedive. I would have loved this place if I was in my mid-twenties and single....but being married and mid-thirties it was not my cup of tea. I guess I am getting old, but the service mixed with the temperature and clientele makes me feel this was a poor overall experience. Low points were bartenders giving the wrong drink 3 times in a row and drunken patrons spilling drinks on a friends coat while dancing in a non-dance area.

“Great place to watch the hawks win!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Really friendly and comfy bar. If you have a big group like we did call ahead and reserve a tap table. The table has a tap in the center of it so you can self serve your beer and you can select the type of beer. Brilliant I say!! Food is great and the service is good as well lots of flat screens to watch your favorite teams

“Fun local sports bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Great place to go to watch sporting events. Huge screen TV’s everywhere. Nice selection of beers on Tap, friendly bar keeps will help you make a choice. The food menu is fun but needs a bit more polishing to be above average. The staff is very nice and we were made to feel welcome even though we were older than the average crowd, Manager stopped by and chatted with us for a bit and said if we made a request to their web site they try to get beer you requested on tap for a try.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2011

While the atmosphere, decor and service are wonderful, the food leaves a lot to be desired. It seems that they watered down Mexican food to make it appealing to more. However, for those of us who enjoy real Mexican cuisine with it's complex sauces, chiles and regional styles, Chicago has much better choices.

“One of the best Mexican restaurants in the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2010

Great authentic Mexican food for a reasonable price. The guacamole is made fresh tableside to order and the margaritas are shaken and poured at the table. Both are excellent. The pork tacos from the wood burning oven are the best I have ever had. (Better than a very famous chef in the city where I paid more and had to wait weeks for a reservation.) The churros with chocolate dipping sauce were a great finish for our foursome to share. Service was very attentive and the valet parking is a convenient feature. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and is nicely partioned from the large bar with glass. Check out the daily drink and happy hour food specials.
