I stayed here for one night while on business and was not disappointed. The hotel is modern and conveniently located in the heart of Chicago. I was able to walk to Giordano's famous Chicago Pizzeria as well as stop for a view from the Signature Lounge at the John Hancock tower overlooking Chicago (just a few blocks away down Michigan Ave). The fitness area was also very nice. The breakfast (restaurant style) left something to be desired, but otherwise it was a great short stay in Chicago.

This hotel has become our "go to" Chicago hotel several times each year when we visit. You can't beat the location. A block off Michigan Avenue and a short walk to everything in the Magnkificent Mile, River North and Streeterville. The Loop is also a short walk away.

The location is surpassed only by the staff. Everyone, beginning with the valet and the doorman, is friendly and willing to answer any question you might have. Love the rooms on the higher floors, especially those that face west with the lake views or north for the city views.

After researching until I went cross eyed, I finally clicked and made a decision. We stayed just two nights for a couples weekend getaway and I got such a great deal on the rooms when I prepaid in full. Almost unheard of! I was a little nervous about the price being too good to be true, but all of the good reviews were too much of a reason to try it out. All of the staff were very friendly, greeting us each time we came and went. They went out of their way. They even gave us their business cards to try to keep us from waiting in line wherever we were going. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the showers were hot and had great water pressure. One issue we had was the vanity light went out, but the desk sent someone up right away and he fixed it in 10 minutes. Check out was easy and we ate in the hotel restaurant on the last morning because it was raining and that was good as well and the staff was excellent and personable and very friendly. This hotel is close enough to walk to almost everything. We did take a cab one time, but walked the rest! It was a great stay and we will definitely come back!

Recently stayed 3 nights at the Courtyard on East Ontario Street and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. I have been coming to Chicago 5 times a year for the past 4 years and have stayed at 15 different hotels all higher end than a Courtyard Marriott. After reading many reviews on this hotel and getting a great price decided to give it a try. The location is obviously amazing one block east of Michigan Avenue, so everything you would want to do or see is practically in walking distance. Upon walking into this small lobby you are immediately greeted with a warm hello (everytime you come in, not just for check in) and welcomed. The front desk staff is friendly and accomodating and willing to please. Lobby is small but nicely decorated and a nice place to sit and have a coffee from Starbucks which is attached to the hotel. The rooms are a nice size, decor similar to other Courtyards I have stayed at in other cities, basic but servicable. The beds were very comfortable, towels are plush and very nice. Complimetary coffee and coffee maker in room made very hot coffee, a plus. Nicely equipped gym on the 10th floor with a pool beside it. I think the best way of evaluating my experience at this hotel is to say that I never went to the front desk other than to check in and check out. No complaints at all!
