Conveniently located just a few steps from the Magnificent Mile, this hotel offers reasonable prices, functional and clan rooms, friendly and attentive staff. Definitely, a quite good solution to stay in Chicago!

Marriott elite members who travel a lot for work and pleasure. We stay at Marriots when avail.

All employees very nice and professional. Checked in and only request was room away from elevators. Booked a king and got 2 queens??? Where "upgraded" to larger room. Booked a single king room 400 sq ft for $369 - not a great deal but Chicago during RSNA. We were warned carpets were cleaned and still damp??? They were cleaned that morning.

Went to business dinner and returned and room was hot, extremely humid (think Florida in summer), and strong musty smell. My wife's very well controlled asthma was set off after 5 minutes (I am a MD). She rarely needs her inhaler but this set her off. We were very promptly moved to a top floor room. All night I listened to the elevator go up and down. Very little sleep. my wife also. The shaft must be next to room as it is obvious. So we booked a quite king and ended up with a double queen next to elevator shaft and my wife having a hard time to breath. My only request was a room not next to the elevator. The room we ended up with was loud every minute.

Very unimpressed and we are easy going travelers. Clean, quite, and good bed. The rest is fluff. Rooms and people were otherwise nice.

My daughter and I just got back from a mother/daughter shopping weekend and we stayed at the Courtyard Chicago Downtown/Mag Mile. We were pleasantly surprised at the great location (just a few steps away from Michigan Avenue). The hotel was very clean. We were actually given a room that someone was still checked in to...so we quickly were upgraded to a nicer room on a higher floor. When we arrived back at the room in the evening we were surprised to have been delivered two pieces of chocolate cheesecake and glasses of milk for our inconvenience! We stayed on the 21st floor and the view was awesome! Right down the street is Garrett Popcorn and the smell is amazing when you step out of the hotel (try the caramel popcorn...amazing!) The pool and workout area are also very nice.

I would definatly recommend this hotel for a nice visit to Chicago!

Great people, everyone that worked there seemed to want to please you and make you feel welcome. Hotel has a great location, one block off Michigan to all the great stores and restaurants. The parking is great and handy with it being right next door attached to the hotel. The Capital Grill restaurant is right across the street!! This is the only hotel we will stay at while we are in Chicago!! Great restaurant at the hotel for breakfast or just a snack. Elevators are fast, hotel is spotless.
