I read all the reviews about this hotel being the greatest ever. It is not! Don't get me wrong, the hotel is very nice, but again if you are paying 700+ you except Perfect. We checked in about 3PM, room is not ready. We are told they will call us when its ready, they never call, and we get back at 4Pm, I go to the lobby and they say the room is ready. I get to the room expecting my luggage there, its not, I have to call the desk to tell them to bring up luggage, otherwise it probably sit there. Internet service is good, after it has to be reset.
AC is running, very difficult to get the right temp in the room. the tv does not directly face the bed. The bathroom is marble and very nice, no complaints about it.
First day, the room was not cleaned until I told them.
Food in the morning, eggs are runny, sauage was cold. Lunch was good. Orange juice is tasty.
Swimming pool is very good, 100M on 19th floor
I was there for 3 days. I enjoyed staying there on someone money for a meeting. Overall, the location is very good, just off Michigan Avenue. But unless you have money to burn, their other locations in Chicago almost as good, at a much lower price.
