“Great Atmosphere, Great Bands”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

If you love Irish Drink, Food & Music....Look no further. The Curragh is the place for some good Irish food, music and always flowing Guiness! It can very cramped at times, but a lot of fun.

“Far from being an Irsh Pub”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

I would compare it to a "TGIF" type of place. very commercial, blend food, poor service. It is always dissappointing when your expectations are shattered by less than good food and service.

“Great pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

A fun place for couples, solo diners and is also family friendly. Excellent stick-to-your-ribs kind of food - pot roast, fish & chips, broiled fish, stews, spare ribs, and excellent grainy bread, etc. Very casual, fun and reasonably priced.

“Good restaurant near ORD”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2012

I often eat at this pub if I have a couple of hours to kill before flying out of ORD and I have a rental car. It is approximately 15 minutes from ORD and offers a nice change from the chains and nameless/faceless eating options nearer the airport.

The food is excellent - both the lamb stew and fish and chips are perennial favors and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. And they know how to pour a good pint of Guiness. All around good place with Wifi (a bit spotty but workable).

“Really like this restaurant!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

My husband and I just had lunch here today and loved it! He had a Cheeseburger that was huge and he said it was very good. I had the "Ambassador" sandwich which was peppered beef with portabella mushrooms, baby spinach and mozzarella cheese which was excellent! We will certainly go back when we are in the neighborhood. The only drawback to this place is that parking is hard to find on your own, but they do have valet parking which saves the day!
Give this place a try, you won't be sorry.
