We stayed here based on reviews, location, and price. We were not at all disappointed. The price of this hotel was much better than most other similar class hotels. We found it very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. One staff member at the front desk went out of her way to help us with returning our car rental and helping us with directions and future use of public transportation. Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was good and fresh. The location was great as it was only a few blocks from the Navy Pier and probably a five minute walk to the Magnificent Mile. Some people mentioned some negatives in previous reviews. One was that the rooms were small. I would say they were on the small side but definitely roomy enough for a nice stay. They had a work/computer desk, flat screen tv, queen bed, and a seperate sink from the bathroom. The other was the sound of sirens. That is true but hearing sirens was only an occassional thing. I would also mention that if you stay at any other top name hotels in the area you would also hear sirens, so for me not a problem, did not disrupt my stay or sleep in any way and I am usually noise sensitive. Plenty of places to eat very close by, less than two short blocks. Capital Grille, Panera Bread, Dunkin' Donuts, and 7 Eleven are all very close and convenient. For us this was an awesome place to stay.
