Wonderful hotel, great location, great staff you can stay here for any occasion: Business, vacations or for a quick getaway!

Two thumbs up ! Spectacular rooms, modern installations, they have it all. A little bit pricey but hey.. you know what they say, you get for what you pay for

From the moment we walked in the door, staff was responsive and friendly. From check in, to the Acura car service, to breakfast the next morning it was a great experience. In particular, Omar Pereda helped me tremendously when I lost my laptop. I called and he found it and shipped it back to me the next day. Thanks so much everyone!

Older W and is a bit worn, but the rooms are "W" appointed; however property is showing age. GREAT location if you work at Willis Tower (sears tower) as only a few short blocks away. Food options are somewhat limited adjacent to the W and you would have to hike it several blocks to find something edible (meaning NO to Mickey D's, Dunkin D). Lobby is smaller than most W's but bar is adequate and they try hard to get you serviced. One complaint is the L train (way above ground subway) runs alongside the W and if you have a room on the wrong side you will hear it all night long. Would stay here again for business but not so much for vacation. Great rates here though. Sweat gym is tiny and pathetic in a today's world of staying fit.

The first thing that strikes you about this property is the modern decor of the lobby and rooms. If you like this style you will love this hotel. The rooms were quite comfortable but had a few negatives. Positives were cleanliness, very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, big TV, numerous plush linens, nice selection of bath products and and assortment of snacks and drinks to purchase. Negatives were the overall room size and small bathroom with a tiny sink. Check in was prompt and the person behind the desk was courteous. The bar was extremely active until closing at 2:00 a.m. I had breakfast in the restuarant and it was very good costing $20 per person which is not unreasonable for downtown Chicago. The wait staff was pleasent and engaging. If you want to stay downtown I would recommend this property.
