We booked this hotel via Priceline for the Friday of St. Patty's Day weekend.... we had never heard of the hotel, but we were very pleased to read the online reviews before arriving. We are so happy with our stay. A very new, renovated hotel with great rooms and lobby area. Our room was a great size with hard wood floors, a large flat screen TV, awesome king size bed with hign end bedding, a great view of the river, huge bathroom and walk in shower, etc. The only draw back are the very thin walls/doors. We could hear the group staying next door to us come home around 3am and then having loud conversations in the hallway around 6am. This was slightly annoying, but not a deal breaker.
The lobby was very inviting. There is a huge gas fireplace with couches in front where you can stop for a drink as well as a large bar/restaurant area. It was a happening place on Friday evening as we left the hotel for dinner. We could not get a room for Saturday night since the prices were about double what we paid between it being a holiday weekend and the Big 10 Tourney in town, but we would absolutely stay again!
