“Walk Chicago Tour: Pilsen Neighborhood Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Our afternoon walking tour of the Pilsen neighborhood with Terry Sullivan and Mimi was wonderful. Our conference theme was "Urban Gateways: Immigration and the Global City," and the walking tour was the perfect capstone to our 3-day conference. Our guests, who were professors from Liberal Arts graduate programs throughout the US and Canada, were very impressed with Terry Sullivan and Mimi's expertise on the ethnic history of the neighborhood. Our guides were extremely well-informed, interesting, and very funny--- the perfect taste of Chicago for our visitors. We were very impressed with how well Terry and Mimi tailored their talk to our conference themes. And we loved seeing the street murals, visiting one of the local churches, and getting a behind-the-scenes tour of a Mexican bakery. The Mexican Art Museum was a good quick stop to finish our tour. Will definitely return to the neighborhood, and will recommend Walk Chicago to our colleagues!

“Great Tour Guide and Fantastic Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

We were in Chicago in late September with two couples, one of which had never been to Chicago. We wanted a tour not on a boat and that gave us an upclose view of the city, its beautiful buildings and architecture and, of course, some history and art. Terry set everything up for us with one simple phone call and he took his time to understand what we were really interested. Jim was our guide and he was fantastic. Very knowledgable, very patient and was never in a hurry or rushed. He let us take as much time as we wanted at each area, or not. Very easy to get along with. Terry will give you the price when you call but we can say that it was very fairly priced and represents a great value compared to other guide services in Chicago. It was exactly what we were looking for and can't imagine it being any better. Much better than the food tours. Ask for Jim!

“Great tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

My wife and I had just went to Chicago for a long weekend trip. Never having been before, we booked a trip thru Terry with our tour guide, James. James gave us an amazing journey through the history, architecture and sights of Chicago. He was knowledgeable, bright and personable. We saw and learned so many things about the uniqueness of Chicago that we would never have gotten on our own. Well worth the price. Great job James!

“Made My Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

A friend and I joined Joe for a walking tour of public art in the Loop. Joe's expertise and obvious love of the city absolutely made my trip. I learned so much about the art, architecture, and history of Chicago, and saw things i never would have noticed or appreciated on my own. And we went at a pace that allowed us to ask questions and really absorb the information. I highly recommend a Chicago Walking Tour!

“Phyllis S. " Wonderful Tour!"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

This was my first trip to Chicago and a friend arranged for myself and three others to have a walking tour of the city with Walk Chicago Tours. Terry, our tour guide, was fabulous. He pointed out architecture and art of Chicago I would never have seen otherwise. His knowledge of the city is unbelievable. I highly recommend this tour. It was fun, interesting and I left the tour knowing a lot more about Chicago then I would have had I not taken this wonderful adventure.
