This small restaurant in river North packs a big punch with food and service. We stopped in to check the place out as a possibility for dinner on a recent weekend in the city. The bar was quite busy at 4 PM, but Chris, one of the bartenders got us our drinks and was willing to take the time to show us the menu and share his favorites. We couldn't get a reservation, but at Chris's suggestion we came back a little after 6 and waited for bar seating to become available. Within 5 minutes we were able to get 2 seats at one of the communal tables. We opted to try the half portions of many different dishes. The Bacon Jam and Slider dishes were exceptional. We even got to taste the Kale chips that the diners next to us had ordered. The service was quick and very friendly great servers and runners. We'll go back and would recommend this place to friends.
