Highly recommended, there was a line outside for the 11:30am lunchtime opening & that decided it for me. I was alone, preferred a table to the bar, and was happily accommodated. The server - with trainee in tow - was warm and assured, asking if this was my first visit in order to explain the menu if necessary. The menu is large and meant, I believe, to be a many course tasting menu. I agree with other reviewers, definitely 'foodie' unique, with bone marrow and pigs ears.
I ordered a nice larger pour glass of white wine, pork shoulder with mashed potatoes. The portion I got was perfect for me though I would imagine someone with a larger appetite would definitely need another option as well. The pork shoulder was beautifully flavorful and tender but I would have preferred a heartier, less liquid mash as its companion, even in this July heatwave. No salt and pepper were on the table and none were needed - there was a small amount of sauce with just a hint of mustard, providing a little dash.
There are a nice amount of seating options, with large, communal tables, outdoor seating and the bar - all filled within about 15 minutes of opening. The decor has a farm-to-table feel and very casual, with dark wood. The service was wonderful and the servers did not rush other guests from making selections and my lunch was wonderfully timed, not too fast, not slow.
