3-night stay at the Palomar Chicago. The only word that comes to mind is Wellbeing. A sense of comfort, intimacy, friendliness, peace and quiet, distinction. The location, just across the Magnificent Mile shopping stretch is so practical. The food is great. Most of all, the personal care and attention from any and all of staff members. And if you are a pet lover as us, this is the place. This site is only three years old and kept as if it opened yesterday. You will feel home the minute you step in; and you may even want to try the Happy Hour treats every day, along with homemade warm drinks for the winter and all the amenities of an upper class hotel built for the new Century. Enough said: just go and try it for yourself.

Just returned from a five night stay in the Hotel Palomar. On arrival we met by Bobby and colleagues at front desk. The level of interest and attention to details within the first few moments of check in, we knew that this hotel was not going to disappoint. The rooms are really spotless and the hotel is in a perfect location ! Every morning we enjoyed the complimentary tea/coffee and the evening kicked off with complimentary wine and pizza in the hotel lobby. We met fellow guests and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Bobby went to great effort to secure us tickets for book of mormon which was a hot ticket in town and we secured a matinee performance which was brilliant. Again we asked for good restaurant recommendations on we were not disappointed. On departure the staff were more then kind helping to lift the suitcases of four very well able shoppers ! We would highly recommend this hotel and reach out to bobby before you arrive and arrange some restaurant restorations... he knows his stuff. PS the bar called Sable within hotel is great !

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with amazing customer service, comfort and lovely decor (plus fun animal print robes). The beds and bedding are luxuriously comfortable. You'll enjoy the complimentary morning coffee/tea in the lounge and happy hour in the evening. The location is very conveniently located if you plan on visiting the heart of Chicago. There's a fun bar on the first floor. The staff is extremely helpful if you have any questions and they are happy to make dinner reservations for you before your visit (try the Publican).

I will definitely look for Palmar hotels and the other Kimpton owned hotels on future trips.

Kimption does it again!! OK, I looked at so many hotels in Chicago before I booked. I have a preference for the Kimpton brand (They deliver...great stays in D.C, San Francisco-two properties there and NOW Chicago) So happy I booked again with them!!
Here is what you will get:
1.Comfortable cozy rooms and robes the rooms are large and beds comfortable.
2.Service: EVERYONE at this property was amazing, great recommendations etc if you sign up for their preferred customer program: an email before you arrive with any requests:newspaper delivery daily, reservations, and a guide to the city written by the hotel employees
3. Coffee in the am and wine at night-I am a coffee and wine snob and still loved both.
4. The lobby restaurant was always packed with a fun crowd and great drinks and food.
5. Heated pool did not even use it but looked great.
