“Phenomenal customer service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2011

Ended up here after check-in mix up at Club Quarters Central Loop. Checked in after midnight Sunday morning, and had to leave at 7 am. They discounted our room, and the valet pointed out the free parking spaces across the street so we saved on parking as well. He didn't have to do that but he could see we were exhausted from the mix up at the other CQ. Only issue was we could hear the sirens, but hey, we had a river view room and just wish we could have stayed longer. VERY accommodating.

For our first visit to Chicago, we found Club Quarters to be the perfect location. It was within walking distance to the places we wanted to see: Millenium Park, Navy Pier, Mag Mile, Willis (Sears) Tower, and so much more. Easy access to the River Walk. Sure, the room was small but we didn't need or want an overpriced, palatial space (who spends much time in a hotel room, anyway?) We even got a river view room. For the price, we almost expected shabby, worn down accommodations but everything was clean, modern, and well kept. Loved the amenities and services available to members. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant, Bella Bacino's, attached to Club Quarters was convenient and welcoming. Our first night there, we stopped in for a couple drinks and were greeted and treated like old friends. On another night, we met a couple friends there for dinner, and the food was superb. We will definitely make this our home base whenever we're in Chicago.

This was my first trip to Chicago and I lucked out by finding Club Quarters on Wacker. The receptionist first asked if I was by myself as the room I had booked was one of their smaller one and she wanted to make sure I would have enough room if I was traveling with someone. Yes, the room was small, but it was lovely and clean with a view of the river. All of the staff that I had contact with was friendly and helpful. They asked if I needed wakeup calls, taxis or anything to make my visit more pleasant. The lobby area is a nice size with computers guests can use to print airline boarding passes. The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced, has great food, and a friendly staff. The location is great -- next to shopping, the theatre district and the Art Institute. My husband and I will be returning in May and, again in June.

Centrally located, very helpful and friendly staff, small but very clean and very comfortable room. Great price too. If you need a cozy place to do work there is a nice area for that downstairs too with free internet access. The adjacent restaurant is also very good. I found this on tripadvisor and found the overall very good reviews to be spot-on and well deserved..

The skinny: smallish rooms but very clean and comfortable.

Meant to be booked here for weekend but accidentally got the Loop instead. But the staff of the hotels were great in getting me switched to this hotel.

We got a 27th floor room. Had a view but it had obstacles. King size bed was actually two smaller mattresses than one single mattress. Bed and bedding was comfy. Bathroom was larger than Loop location.

Only downside was having to use key card to get to your floor. Friends on lower floors couldn't get up unless they came with us. But as we went down we could get off anywhere. Odd.

This is my second stay at this hotel for a large radiology conference. It offers friendly service and a comfortable room at great location. The view from my room, overlooking the river and Michigan avenue was beautiful at night. Get off your plane, take the blue line downtown and its a short walk to the hotel. In my case, the conference buses stop at the hotel next door and the Millenium Metra station is just three blocks away. I highly recommend as a home base for business travel.
