“Wow, were we disappointed. I want my money back.”
The live music started at 8 pm, and we arrived at 8:55. We paid $10 each and waited around for literally five minutes until a waitress begrudgingly seated us. Then, the band finished the song, and took a FORTY MINUTE BREAK. Yep. Seriously. Not an emergency break, they sat at the bar and laughed and drank for forty minutes. An hour into the set.
The menu had numerous spelling errors on every single page. Sometimes the same word was misspelled differently in a few spots. And the food was WAY overpriced - you pay $10 to get in, and then essentially pay ANOTHER cover when you buy food and drinks. The Eli's Cheesecake, the same stuff offered in every restaurant, was like $9. It's $3-4 in every other place in town. Beers were $6 for domestics and $7 for anything else. And, the best part - THEY INCLUDE THE 18% TIP! We were two people. And the waitress deserved about 2% because she NEVER refilled our water glasses (over the course of over 2 hours!!) and we had to flag her down to even get a beer.
Finally, the bathrooms were utterly disgusting. You'd think they could afford some Scrubbing Bubbles with all of the price gouging going on here. I almost walked out, but a few beers and waters and you'll put up with a lot in a bathroom.
So, in conclusion, the music, WHEN IT WAS ON, was fine. Everything else, well, I want my $53 back. It was a very expensive mistake. I'm pretty upset about it.
