Road the big Ferris Wheel, goes around one time great view of the city, cost is $6 per person, plus they take your picture at the end for an additional charge, price is high for spin around but really enjoyed. also went on a tall ship that goes out of Navy Pier, with a Pirate and he tells wonderful true stories obout Michiagan Lake and the Chicago Pirates, would go again, in the evening he tells ghost stories. We also enjoyed a fabulous Chicago Hot Dog.

1) Mostly indoors and can enjoy the musical band they come with some theme. when we visited once they had a pirates theme the other time they had mexican music going on. It was fun to watch yes even with kids.
2) stained glass museum is kinda cool.
3) there is a water fountain place which kids like but its closed if someone book for an event there.
4)different kinds of stores inside jewelery , clothing, caricature painting etc
In summer you can enjoy the nice weather and walk around the pier.

Navy Pier was a great option on the Go Chicago card. We stayed six nights in July. We did something every day but one at Navy Pier. The boat cruises were great. Do the architectural river cruise to learn about the buildings and get a feel for the layout of the city.

The ferris wheel is a must for both day and night. The stained glass museum is very unique. Be sure to take time to travel all the way to the end of the pier. We did it at night. It would be fun to do again in the day.

The free trolley was great for travel to and from our hotel. There was a line and some wait time, but it was worth it. There are lots of food choices. Riva's was the only one I would not recommend. The food choices were very expensive.

My family and I went to Navy Pier during our recent stay in Chicago. We really liked it. It is a great place for people of all ages. It was very well maintained, clean, and safe. They have 3 rides and they are suitable for people of all ages. We took an Oddessy boat cruise and really had a nice time. I would highly recommend stopping at Navy Pier if you visit Chicago.
