The hotel is in an amazing location, easy to walk to some of the best parts of the city. Really comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Views from the room are wonderful.
I had a few issues though:
*Getting to and from rooms requires two elevator trips. The lobby of the hotel is on the 7th floor of the building. Other hotels with similar set ups (Mandarin in NY) have elevators all the way to the street level. This hotel doesn't.
*Cell phone reception is limited in the rooms. I have Verizon and had 1 bar in my room, my friend had AT&T and she also had one bar in her room. When I stayed at the Elysian (two blocks away), I didn't have this problem.
*The CD player alarm went off in the middle of the night I hadn't set the alarm. On checkout, I told the receptionist who didn't seem to care too much.
Also, it's 2011, not 1999, why do you have a CD player and not an ipod dock?
