Here are some pros and cons:

Pros:
-Good location
-Nice staff
-Clean room

Cons:
-Lack of bathroom amenities (I get better items at a Holiday Inn)
-Housekeeping wasn't so great...
1. A bathroom rug was taken out of my room (no idea why) and never returned it. The marble floor in the bathroom was very dangerous when slippery...I had to throw towels on the ground to make sure I did not fall.

2. I was charged for items I did not take out of the minibar.

We're sorry you felt our bathroom amenities were lacking, but we provide soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and mouthwash. We do have other items (toothpaste, shaving cream, etc) that are available by calling housekeeping. The bathroom rug should have been there, but we're more than happy to bring you another if you let us know. Also we apologize you were charged for any minibar items you didn't consume. We can make those adjustments to your bill at check out. It sounds like you won't be staying with us in the future, but we hope that if you don't find a more enjoyable hotel that you'll give us a try again.

We also didn't get a corner suite with a terrific view, but the room appeared very spacious in the common area, the bed room with 2 double beds seemed a little tight. Our room wasn't ready when we got there either. Stay was fine though. Housekeeping very responsive. Restaurant had a great breakfast buffet. Would stay at this location again.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor is the lobby and the restaurant is on the 4th floor. Ask for the highest floor they w...

Slight annoyance on arrival when room not ready, but receptionist gave us a $25 food credit (put to good use at the very good outside breakfast cafe). Further disappointment upon finding that the claim that Superior Corner Suites "feature generous city views" was not borne out in our case - only the blank wall of the adjoining building - but the main advantage claimed by this hotel, namely the location, was true in every respect. We'd probably go to one of the more historical ones next time in Chicago rather than return, but that's not to say that this one was in any way a let down.

Room was comfy, two double beds, but no slippers. Great bar/restaurant inside hotel for late lunch. They triple charged internet because of three devices, but then took two off when we checked the bill. All ok.

Room Tip: Bar restaurant good and friendly

We're sorry about the internet charges, but glad we were able to fix the issue quickly. Although we don't have slippers, we can surely get some if they will make your stay more comfortable. We hope you had a safe trip back to Greece. If you find yourself in Chicago please stay with us again and certainly ask us about the slippers.

to a great stay and that certainly is true of this Omni on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
Directly across from the Apple store, easy access to CTA within 5 blocks and tons of stores, dining options and tourist activities to do nearby.
A well maintained property, great fitness center and pool for exercise and easy to get to lakefront for longer runs.
The room we had was a corner suite---quiet, wonderful eat-looking view to see some of the lake.
Well organized room, great bed!!!
Service here is good, friendly staff and a real gem for Omni.
Most definitely will stay here again!!

We wanted to take a quick road trip to Chicago with our son (age 3). It was his first Chicago trip and we planned to do the museums and shopping. Booked room online, very quick and easy, lots of packages to choose from.
Our son was in heaven from the time we checked in until we left. The doorman was super attentive to our son, gave him an Omni kids club backpack with some small toys in it. Every time we came in and left the hotel the doorman gave our son a high five and greeted him by name. The front desk staff was super attentive to us, including talking with our son. Upon check out, he was greeted by name. When turn down service came, they brought him milk and cookies.
Room service was fast, food was very, very good. Rooms were quiet. We had a corner king suite. Perfect for traveling with a young child. Location is awesome. Only steps from Disney Store and Water Tower Place. Good eating locations nearby.
We'll be back!

Spent the weekend with my sisters and daughters and nieces to celebrate my 60th birthday. I had never been to Chicago and we had a great time. They were able to put our 3 rooms on the same floor with 2 of the rooms adjoining. Loved the sitting area since we could all hang out there. However the couch could have been more comfortable. The hotel was in a great location. The doorman, receptionists and concierge were all friendly and helpful. We also got an email from the ambassador and he was able to put our rooms together. We also enjoyed our morning coffee delivered to our rooms. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the staff helpful and friendly. The Sunday breakfast buffet was very fresh and good. Our only disappointment was the Jacuzzi was not working. We felt they should have comped us some drinks or something since we planned on using it while there. I would definitely stay there again especially if you needed a suite.
