“Free!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

What's not to love! Its free, great location and a a lot of animals. If its to cold go to the cafeteria and warm up with a nice hot chocolate and a pretzel! Don't miss the Chimpanzee pavilion.. A lot of parking on the back or you can take bus 151 and get off on front of the zoo.

“a great city zoo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Lincoln park zoo is just the right size to navigate on a nice afternoon. The zoo could use some updating but for the price-FREE you can't go wrong. If you drive in look for on the street parking as parking in the lot is $12 per car.

“Great zoo for being free!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

The zoo is a great attraction to go to especially for the price...FREE!! Although they do get you with the food and souvenir prices (but don't they all)! Great place to spend the day walking around, with kids or without! And you can pack a lunch and sit on the lawn and have a picnic if you choose. Either way a great place to spend a summer day!

“Great Zoo for Free”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

The only problem is the limited parking around the zoo. Other than that the zoo is great and it is absolutely free. My kids love it.

“Top 5 in Chicago”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Good for every age, family couple or alone. It is one of the best places in Chicago. It's a free attraction with a very good quality. We could see most of the animals. The installations are clean, the animals have space and the vegetation is really so nice. It's incredible this place in a big city like Chicago, and not only for children.
All the pavilions are really interesting, reptiles, birds,... But don't forget to visit the botanic greenhouse, it's full of different species.
It's a good place to walk, to have fun and relax. I can't wait for a good weather and come back.
