Stayed 1 night at the Chicago South Loop. If I could exclude the check-in and having to deal with the unhelpful front desk staff (the morning shift) and then paying $16 for a VERY lackluster (customer service-wise) breakfast buffet, I'd give the place 5 stars. Clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced and conveniently located, the hotel is perfect for any business travel. Free parking + free wi-fi seal the deal.
You may want to skip staying on Saturday night if you want some sleep. We stayed on Saturday night and there was some sort of a function/party at the downstairs restaurant and we could hear that base booming up on the 3rd floor till 2am. Add to that some obnoxious, drunk female who felt the need to scream and laugh at the top of her lungs outside beneath our windows and it was hard to get to sleep.
