We recently did a quick trip from Toronto to Omaha with a change of planes on O'Hare. We had a quick lunch here both times. You seat yourself which is great as most of us are on a time limit. There TV screens around the room, mainly showing sports. There is also a REALLY important accessory. A clock. Clocks are so hard to find in airports these days and some of us just use our phones rather than watches and for a 2 day visit we had no desire to sign up for roaming charges so that clock was invaluable to us for getting to our gate on time.
There is a full bar service and the menu is casual but not boring. It has appetizers, sandwiches and light dishes plus desserts. I had the jumbo shrimp appetizer for my lunch and I can honestly say they were the best, freshest tasting shrimp I have tasted in years, if not ever. They were not tough or rubbery and the flavour was amazing. Above all though the service is fantastic. Especially the lady with red hair who is delightful, very fast and very funny. It is rude to indicate a lady's age but put it this was she was roughly my age and I have seen quite a few fragrant summers, in fact quite a lot. If you see her please tell her we think she's a real asset to restaurant.
