“A nice small historic park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

If you are a baseball fan and enjoy seeing new parks check out Wrigley. I had to see it while I was there instead of a boring art museum. I sat in the back row of the second level and still had a nice view since the park is pretty small. Get there early and you can walk around the entire park no matter what type of ticket you have. I even asked one of the security guards to take a picture of me. Even though I don't know a thing about the Cubs it was a fun experience for an afternoon.

“Cubs game”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

Go on the weekend and make use of the free shuttle from DeVry campus. I've always gotten in without buying advance tickets. Just go to the box office and see what they have. Of course, it may cost you more than 50 dollars a seat to do that, but it's worth it if you're just visiting. (No guarantees for playoffs, however, if the Cubs ever make it into the playoffs!!)

“Charming Ballpark - Boring Tour”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

We had planned to go to the last game before All-star Break and enjoy this historic park. It was so miserably hot when we got there that we decided to pass on the game as we had tickets for the tour on another day. It did look like a really fun pre-game atmosphere on the streets.

The tour was disappointing - we have done tours at the Old Yankee Stadium and at Fenway Park in Boston and both were interesting and fun. Unfortunately any tour is only as good as the tour guide and ours was not good. There were interesting stories to tell but he told them poorly and was extremely bossy, ordering us around like a bunch of preschoolers. We saw some of the younger, more enthusiastic tour guides had their groups laughing & apparently having a great time so I think we just drew the short straw on this one - it happens.

“All American”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

What's not to to like. A hot dog. Soda for the kids. The iconic feel of a historic baseball stadium. No drunk fans being rude. Family friendly experience. Who cares if this is not the home team. It is baseball; America's pastime. What a nice way to spend a evening with the family. We booked our seats early, on-line.
