“Spectacular View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

As many times as I've been to Chicago, this was my first time taking in the "Sears Tower". I primarily went to check out the sky ledge that allows you to stand on a glass ledge that is protruding from the building and the side walk below. If you have a fear of heights, this might be something you want to skip. But it's worth it. An experience to remember. Bring your patience because of the crowds and the line to get there, but it was worth it. I thought the best time to go was close to the sun setting you can get some awesome pictures.

“What a view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

This was one of the attractions covered in our City Pass and is really quite thrilling. A fast elevator ride to the observation deck and a vertigo-inducing step on the skydeck which is a glass platform extending from the building. 360 degree views of the Chicago area. I fear heights but I was able to enjoy it, so you ought to give it a try! Worth it.

“Sky high!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't busy. The view was great and those glass boxes - The Ledge - was really cool! It was kind of terrifying but also fun! Go on a weekday, that seems to be the best time.

“Just Fantastic !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

It may be the tallest building in the US by default - but the former Sears Tower is certainly the centerpiece of Chicago! The ascent up to the 103rd floor to the observation area is rapid and ear-popping - and worth the price of admission!
The view from all four sides gives you a great perspective of the layout of the city, and the path of the Chicago river winding through.
The experience of the Skydeck Ledge is NOT to be missed !!
LOVED it !!
