Hotel is conveniently located, and staff is extraordinarily pleasant and accommodating. A variety of breakfast items are offered, and food is top notch. $1 oysters and $2 sliders at daily happy hour are wonderful indulgences. The Dana is on a State Street bus route and just 3 short blocks from the red line subway. It's a convenient walk to Michigan Avenue, Northbridge Mall, and a variety of restaurants. Beds are comfortable with several pillow options; bath linens and amenities are plush; wifi is fast and free. We had a minor problem with the shower faucet, and a hotel engineer came rapidly to resolve the issue. Closing the privacy curtain before entering the bath area is easy to do, but leaving it open allows a view to the outside. Windows have both shades that allow a modicum of light and black-out curtains for completely dark environment. The 26th floor has a bar which affords a spectacular night view of the city.
