Thursday night dinner with family
Some fresh paint, but décor is little changed from the previous Uncle Jack. With that said, the seating and ambiance is overall good, with wood wall adding some warmth to the room. There are no TV's in the main dining room - a nice change!
We were greeted warmly and seated immediately.
Server was prompt and attentive.
Pricing is fair, with flatbread pizzas 8/9 and most meals in the 12/18 range. Good bread basket, but no salad unless purchased separately.
Food was plentiful, and presented nicely. Taste however was average. Wife had eggplant parm which was somewhat soggy, daughter had shrimp primavera - OK, and I had the lasagna. Large portion and tasted fine - but nothing that would say "wow".
There are a number of wine bottle options in the low $20's, and house wine is $5 a glass. So the bill doesn't get run up to quickly!
Overall a good alternative - but we came home saying it was OK.
