First off, know that I'm a foodie, and to compound the matter I love my wine, a budding oneophile you might say. So anyway, I suggested something other than our usual haunts for GNO with my work pals and no one had been here before, it was reasonably close, so we gave it a go. Two of us have the chopped salad (available in two sizes), one with grilled chicken and one with grilled sirloin (this wasn't on the menu but I asked if they could do this). The third in our group had a steak. Everyone was pleased with their choice. I will say their fresh baked (served warm) bread, served not with cold butter pads (always give demerits for that) but with room temp whipped butter. The wine by the glass options could have been better, never thought of Chile especially good for Pinot Noir so I went with the Tempranillo- Cab mix (yeah, I know everything is a blend now).
We got there around 5pm on a weeknight, it was pretty dead, and it never got crowded, but heck it was a Thursday night. So, I will ask no one to to take offense but I really stood out to me that the crowd was primarily 60+ - odd. The music was Sinatra era music until an hour or so later when they must have switched to rock n' roll for the kitchen staff. What an atmosphere killer. Overall, on a 1 - 5, I'd say its a 3.
