My stay at Baymont Inn was for one night. Hotel was recently renovated, lobby/breakfast area is very nicely done. We enjoyed the morning continental breakfast and the cafe type tables, large tv in lobby. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to shopping/restaurants/colleges if you have a car.
Previously a Hampton Inn, so building does not look like official hotel photo on this site or the Baymont Inn home page. The user photo on trip advisor does show what the room is like. Tastefully decorated and clean. There is an armoir insead of a closet for hanging clothes. Bathroom was smallish, had some older lighting and a low sink, but was clean and had great mirrors! The shower/tub was newer and spacious enough. Towels were plentiful. Beds comfy. Room quiet. Furniture new, carpeting new. Only negative was air-freshener smell in the hallway and elevator, but room was scent free.
This was a very good value, rate was very competitive. (About $60) Many restaurants nearby, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday, Le Peep and two malls. Area immediately adjacent to parking lot is not ideal for walking around because you are on the frontage road and lots of parking lots. Great for a one or two night stay. Pool looked decent, was closed for season. Staff was professional, courteous. They kindly mailed home an item we left behind.
