We took our daughter and her roommate to dinner at Jim's while visiting Bloomington/Normal for the weekend. We've been there twice before, and have enjoyed it each time.
The service was excellent - and not at all rushed (there's nothing more annoying to me than to have food served when you've just started your salad!). The atmosphere is great - and the food was very good. My daughter and I had the filet mignon (perfectly rare like we like). Her roommate had a chicken dish (which she loved). My husband had the crab cakes with crab legs. He felt this dish was just so-so (so I think he'll stick to beef the next time we go!).
It's definitely the nicest place for dinner in the area.
