We called for a reservation while on the road in Southern Illinois, and the clerk was helpful, although a bit confusing as to the room choices. We wanted a suite with high speed Internet, and my wife eventually sorted that out to be about $78.
When we got to the hotel, at check in, the clerk said "you have room 209... oh, wait, that's not clean, okay, room 210." After unpacking, we couldn't find the Ethernet port, and an inquiry of the desk resulted in the acknowledgement that this room didn't have high speed Internet.
In the next room, fortunately we hadn't unpacked before our daughter realized that the pull out sofa bed was broken and couldn't be used. The flustered clerk finally put us in a regular double room, with Internet. She got the price knocked down to $40 because of the difference in rooms and the hassle of moving three times.
Breakfast buffet was passable. There weren't enough towels in the room, but we were able to get more at the front desk (which we visited more often than most hotels we're at for a week!)
Overall, a decent place to spend one night, although the numerous problems may be a cause for concern. I've never been overly happy with the Ramada chain, this is yet another example of why.
