Excellent source for understanding the history and current state of silver mining in the richest region on earth. The curator has roots in the Sunshine Mine near Kellogg where the 1972 disaster took some 91 lives, i'm told. His background makes him and the museum a genuine source for understanding the real story behind mining including procedures and the very real dangers that must be faced before the earth yields this valuable ore.
