“Majestic views from Red Fish Lodge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

We love to sit on the comfortable chairs on the front porch watching the families enjoying the lake. You can see the majestic Sawtooth Mountains across the lake...fantastic view anywhere along the lake.

You can also take a boat ride to the other side of the lake which has a drop point into the Sawtooth Wilderness.

“Great place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

We went for an overnight visit to Redfish Lake. It is a great family retreat with lots of thing to do in the lake. I thought the water at the beach was great for children in that it was shallow for a long way out.
The Sawtooth Mountains in the background are beautiful.
We stayed in the lodge cabin. It was clean, rustic, comfortable. It was just a short walk to all activities. We ate breakfast in the lodge. Buffet was not the best, good selection but food was not hot and flies were everywhere. Service was fine.

“Excellent place for family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Lots of activities to do. Kayaking, paddle boarding, great hiking trails and boat rental is available. The water is very clear. We did white water rafting but it was too late in the year as the water level was low. July will be a much better. Food around that area is good but pricey. Wish there was more accommodation near there. Please make reservation at least 6 months ahead or there will be nothing left!

“Lovely lake, charming log buildings and good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Worth the drive from Stanley. The food was very good and the atmosphere was charming mountain log cabin. It reminded me of the Wilderness Lodge in Yellowstone. The only negative was the bill. We were a party of thirteen who were traveling together for two weeks and we asked for separate checks they refused and it took almost thirty minutes to settle the bill after a long day on the road...Otherwise the food and service was great and we enjoyed a lovely dinner.

“This is well worth the effort to stay here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

This is a beautiful lake nestled in the forest with the Sawtooth Mountains as a backdrop. The campground is expertly designed, well cared for and provides excellent RV & camping opportunities. The Red Lake Lodge restaurant is superb with an excellent menu, quality service, and wonderful food. A picture of the lake with the setting sun will be one you will keep on your computer background so you won't forget the scene.
