“Beautiful, peaceful place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

We moved to Idaho 12 years ago & finally made reservations at the Lake Lodge (you should make them monhs in advance). What a wonderful experience. The people here are very customer oriented. I just cant imagine how anyone could be disappointed.

“Great mountains, lake, lodge, people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

One of the most relaxing, beautiful places out there. Even if it is just a day visit I really beleive everyone should see this place.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

This is a very beautiful lake. The kids went paddle boarding and really liked it. They have a restaurant with lunch options that aren't very good and the service is slow. But the beach and the lake are great.

“Really beautiful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Even though it was a quick trip, my friends and I really enjoyed Redfish Lake near Stanley, ID. We stayed at one of "creek view" cabins (#41) - not much of a creek view, but a good space to stay, plenty of room for 6-8 people, comfortable beds. Large picnic table outside the cabin. Nice fireplace and they provided the wood. Had a great breakfast and dinner at the lodge's restaurant. There are 2-3 one hour scenic cruises on the lake for about $15 per person. The lake water is definitely cold, but is worth a quick dip. Nice sandy beach for laying out, relaxing, decent hiking/biking trails. The convenience/general store had good hours of operation and sold snacks, souvenirs, and wine/beer. This was my first time to Redfish Lake and will definitely return in the future. It wasn't crowded - visited June 6-7 - this may have been because the summer season had not started (in full swing). I would anticipate that it would be more crowded in July/August, but it's so worth it

“One of our favorite places”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Redfish Lake is amazing. On the one hand it is a throwback to the 1950's with a great lodge, decent restaurant, easy trails near the lake, boat rentals and a tour of the lake. On the other it is the jumping off point for some of the best hiking in the US. Trails to Shangri La and Alpine Lake are as beautiful as they get. High Alpine Lakes surrounded by cirques with great trails. Great for families as well as young singles and older adults looking for challenging hiking with phenomenal views.
