I spent a week at the Blue Heron Inn, quickly becoming friends with David and Claudia Klingler, the owners. Driving up to the main log built home you know you are in for a treat and once inside it's beautiful. Everywhere you look it's elegant yet comfortable. The food was beyond my past bed and breakfast experience, a piece of art on the plate, besides delicious. The whole experience couldn't have been better. I'll never forget looking out at the view of the Snake River from the rear deck, thinking this is a bit of paradise. Staying
for a week, the Blue Heron did become home away from home. If I am every within a few hundred miles I will stay with Dave and Claudia once again.
