“Excellent Stop Over”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

We travell to Seattle from Calgary 5 or 6 times a year and like to split the trip with a stop over. This place was beyond clean, it was spotless and the staff were very helpfull and friendly. The continental breakfast with its warm hard boiled eggs and fresh fruits and coffee were an excellent start for the trip home. We have stayed at many places along this route and have found some very nice places but nothing beats this. We will be making the place our number one place to stay from now on.

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to seeing you again. I should note that we just added Bisquits and Gravy to our breakfast assortment. Enjoy!

Stopped here on our way to Spokane. Clean, friendly, plus nice free breakfast. For $60, it is tough to match the value. I will definitely stay here again.

We booked this sight-unseen last minute and drove over from Whitefish, Montana (3hr) to ski at Schweitzer. The entire experience was super..the place clean and welcoming, nice hot tub and microwave. Bfast was a nice continental with pour your own waffles! The hotel was at the base of the Sweitzer Mtn access road and even though quite snowy outside, it was clear and safe for travel, and only 15 minutes! The lady at the desk gave us tips for places to eat in town...check out the Eichart's Pub for live music and delish food and drafts. Would definitely go back.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Our committment is to be Sandpoint's best lodging value. Next time you stay with us, consider the "Family Suite." It has two rooms, a full kitchen and sleeps up to 8 people.

We've stayed here a couple of times and have found the overall quality and value of the motel to be really great. The motel must have been remodeled in the last year or two because it looks and feels new. The staff have been very friendly as well and were very accommodating when we needed to change reservations.

I'm glad you noticed our improvements. Ponderay Hospitality took over hotel operations just over a year ago. We continue to upgrade our rooms. Next time you stay, ask for one of our rooms with a new 32" flat screen TV, or upgrade to the Family Suite which sleeps up to 8 persons, has a full kitchen and includes a 48" TV, DVD player, and vidoe game interfaces.

The hotel is nicely remodeled, spotlessly clean and quiet. We have no complaints and will stay here again whenever in town. We did not take advantage of the breakfast as we had somewhere else to be, but it looked to be a nice hotel breakfast with waffles, breads, fruits and hard boiled eggs. The coffee was pretty good too! Staff was very nice and helpful.

Stayed here and although we really had no problems we always thought they could do a little better. Over all it's ok and that's all.

We used this hotel as a stopover on the way to Seattle. We were happy with it. The rooms were basic but clean (most important) The breakfast was good. The staff was excellent. There was a lady that helped me with my waffle. I cant remember her name but she was great with our family. We can only wish everyplace had caring staff like this place.
