My family was caravaning from Southern California to Montana and stopped in Pocatello for one night on our way north. My father had found this motel on AAA and got some sort of deal, so it was pre-booked.
When we arrived at the motel, the motel manager kindly took my husband and I to our rooms to make sure they fit our needs. The motel was doing some renovating so the hallways in that building were torn up but the rooms themselves were lovely.
My husband and I got a large room with a king-sized bed, complete with down pillows and comforters - VERY nice. The manager even made sure to give us a room that connected to my parent's room, which gave us a nice opportunity to visit with each other.
Even though we could see evidence of the construction, we never heard it or smelled any fumes (i.e. from new paint, wallpaper or carpet).
The CottonTree offers a very nice breakfast buffet complete with cereal, fruit, waffles (I think), eggs, sausage and biscuits. My dad was very impressed! Also, the front desk offers cookies and my husband says the peanut butter cookie was the best he ever tasted.
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to assist us with our needs.
Overall, this was a pleasant experience and I would stay at the CottonTree Inn again.
