For the wonderful rate we got from Ramada's own website, this two-day stay couldn't be beat. Our room was large enough, the pool was very nice--clean, nice lounge area and chairs. Good hot tub. There's a bar and restaurant on site where there wasn't much traffic or atmosphere, but the drinks and appetizers were decent, and convenient to your room. There were some areas for improvement, however. The beds were absolutely hard as rocks. Ouch! The exercise room is way too small and the equipment was creaky, noisy and out of date. Housekeeping was really slow and we were planning on getting ready in our room for a wedding, after being out all morning so they could clean the room. They didn't get to it, so we used the room messy. Getting back that evening, the room was done, but we were given no soap, no glasses, or cups for coffee the next day. And the ice machines both broke down and it was too late for the restaurant to supply ice. (It was almost 100 degrees this weekend and everyone desperately wanted cold drinks!)Staff was friendly. You can walk across the parking lot to a Pizza Hut or a local Mexican restaurant, if you wish. Very convenient to the Interstate.
