One word review, Depressing! Room on the first floor facing parking lot and all I got were blackout curtains. That meant that if I wanted privacy in the middle of the day, I had to turn my room into midnight. How about some thin, white obscurity curtains. Something that would let the light in but give me some privacy. And to make matters worse, the curtains covered up a sliding glass door with no visible brace or security measure. The room decor was equally depressing and the in-house Italian restaurant was terrible. Please, look elsewhere when booking in Pocatello.

As an experienced traveller, I sugest that you don't stay here. Rooms are terrible. Very dirty and not a lot of class. Hallways are very dirty and doors have lots of dents and cracks. Pool was cold but was okay. The only nice thing about it was the breakfast. Nice cooked to order breakfast. But, unlike some places, you have to pay $1.99 for a breakfast. I would recommend staying somewhere else until they renovate it.

“Not impressed.....”

Ramada Inn Pocatello

Our stay at the Ramada was ok but I will not stay there again. Everything seemed very dark, dingy, and dirty. The lobby is very misleading. When we walked in to the lobby it was very nice but when we got to our room, our thoughts had changed. The bed was very, very, very uncomfortable. Neither my husband or myself could hardly stand it. We found toothpicks all over the room. The bath tub wouldn't drain and there was rust all over the bathroom ceiling. Most of the lamps didn't work either. Our room had a sliding glass door that over-looked the pool but it wasn't visible due to the moisture between the double pained glass.
It was a place to rest our heads (definately not our backs with those beds) but I was wishing we would have gone to the Motel 6 next door.

“Good deal for the price”

Ramada Inn Pocatello

For the wonderful rate we got from Ramada's own website, this two-day stay couldn't be beat. Our room was large enough, the pool was very nice--clean, nice lounge area and chairs. Good hot tub. There's a bar and restaurant on site where there wasn't much traffic or atmosphere, but the drinks and appetizers were decent, and convenient to your room. There were some areas for improvement, however. The beds were absolutely hard as rocks. Ouch! The exercise room is way too small and the equipment was creaky, noisy and out of date. Housekeeping was really slow and we were planning on getting ready in our room for a wedding, after being out all morning so they could clean the room. They didn't get to it, so we used the room messy. Getting back that evening, the room was done, but we were given no soap, no glasses, or cups for coffee the next day. And the ice machines both broke down and it was too late for the restaurant to supply ice. (It was almost 100 degrees this weekend and everyone desperately wanted cold drinks!)Staff was friendly. You can walk across the parking lot to a Pizza Hut or a local Mexican restaurant, if you wish. Very convenient to the Interstate.
