I stayed for three nights at the Best Western University hotel in Moscow, ID. I was bringing my student to Washington State, about 8 miles away, and booked this as a nicer alternative to the hotels that I'd used previously in Pullman. The Best Western site gave a good rate, and I was able to get an additional 10% with AAA number.*
The hotel is located on the main highway into Moscow, in an area of strip malls across from the University of Idaho. Despite the location, traffic noise was minimal, and there was convenient parking close to the front door. Check-in was handled well, although I couldnt' downgrade from a two-person room to a one person (my student wanted to stay in the dorm). The room was on the second floor but there was no elevator access.*
The room is large and clean, it had generous twin beds and a small sitting area. The room had coffee, mircowave, cable TV, and minibar. Free wireless internet was available, and the bathroom had a good tub/shower combination.*
Breakfast was included: it's served in a conference room as a large buffet. There is juice, cereal, fruit, coffee, pastries, but no cooked items. The hotel has a coffee bar and a casual restaurant, along with a more formal dinner restaurant (The broiler). There are many restaurants in the immediate area, so you are not limited to hotel choices.*
The hotel has a large pool and an exercise room: there are stair- and treadmill-machines available.
