My son and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and it was an okay experience. It was really clean and the housekeeping ladies were fabulous. They gave me everything I requested, ie extra dish cloths for the kitchenette, etc. And they were very friendly.
The problems I encountered were that they charged me the same price as our friends who were also in a kitchenette but they had a twin pullout and 2 tv's. I called the front desk and the guy argued with me about that. I can honelty tell you we do not have 2 tv's and we do not have a pull out. We were to have an extra child with us but luckily someone else was able to take him since we didn't have a bed for him. After calling the 800 number and looking online I called the front desk back and argued again and he finally dropped the price to $98 a night. What a crock.
Also I went to take a shower and that was a disaster. For some reason we were in a handicapped room (we are not handicapped) the shower head wasn't screwed in all the way so water was squirting everywhere and not much was coming out of the front of the head which was pointed downward and only 5 feet high! The shower head was not detachable either.
This may be a great shower/tub for a handicappable person, not sure.
To their credit I called about the shower and they had a handyman come first thing the next morning.
Also, they do not have wireless so I was stuck in the kitchen with my computer and could not see the t.v. which I would have liked.
And the bottom drawer of the entertainment armoir was totally busted. I tried to pull it out and it fell to the ground almost taking my fingers off. To beware of that trap.
We will not stay there again, to many problems and too much arguing.
