“Great fresh food, nice decore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012

Our family favorite.

The best Pork Chow Mein ever (crunchy noodle)! Mandarine Pine Chow Mein (soft noodle chow mein) is very tasty as well!

Very good Almond Chicken but the breading is a bit excessive.

Try the sizzling chicken with rice! YUMMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY!

“A very good Chinese resaurant.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2012

We are true fans of good Chinese cusine. We ordered 5 different choices and found each to be authentic, or nearly so, Chinese cusine. The hot and sour soup was excellent. The Lemon chicken was a little too sweet, the pork fried rice was a little too dry (old maybe). Am anxious to try other menu choices.

“On your way to the top...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2012

Located on the way up the hill you could look back and see the beautiful hills along the Snake River but watch where you are going.
When you get to the Mandarin Pines be hungry. The servings are large and tasty. I am partial to Chop Suey and they have some of the best. Their eggrolls aren't bad, either.
The atmosphere is pleasant and fits the mood with the food.

“A must stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

This has to be the best Chinese Food that I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is elegant and the food is great. Best almond chicken that I have had since I moved.

“NOT the best in town”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2010

I'm a local resident who has eaten at every Chinese Restaurant in town. This one is probably in the top 4 closer to number 3 or 4. The service is very slow almost every time I have eaten there over a period of 15 years or so. Also, the flavor of the food is very lacking. I've tasted some Chinese dishes that were better in a buffet restaurant then at this sit-down restaurant. I would recommend at least two other restaurants in town for Chinese over this one.
