“SCAM ALERT”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2014

Room smelled bad and blankets were stained. We put our sleeping bags over bed and tried to make best of it.Got back home and received a call from rude person saying they found dog hair in their gross room and are going to charge my credit card $250. for supposedly taking a dog in the room.I have no dog.Just thought people should know of this scam!!!

Room Tip: DON'T DO IT!!! There is a motel 6 just over the bridge!!!

Do not stay here! I have stayed (recently) in other Econolodges and expected old… but CLEAN! This hotel was filthy. Dead moths on the floor, very stained sheets and bedding, dirt on nightstand, filthy lightswitches… and a live cockroach on the doorknob! There was a terrible smell in the room as well. The night clerk was courteous and helped as much as he could. In the end, I wasn't charged, but I was very disappointed in the chain.

The room was so dirty! Drew a smiley face on the TV screen and showed well enough to take a picture. Tried to plug in my cell charger and the plug kept falling out. Mold under and around the air conditioner that was ready to fall out of the wall. The bath was so stained and dirty would not even chance a shower. Ran my finger over the headboard and was so dusty you could see the tracks I left. Slept in my clothes. The blanket and bedspread were stained. We had paid for 2 nights refused to stay any longer. The only response I got from the front desk was "Thank you very much" no offer to refund second night. Forget about the breakfast bar.

Room Tip: I would not recommend any room

Very mediocre at first. Room was clean to the standards of 20 year old college guy. This was reinforced when I got out of the shower and the was a fresh blood streak on a folded clean bath towel. The back of the bathroom door had make-up (I hope) smeared on it.

To cap of my wonderful stay I told the front desk about the towel. He said he wouldn't charge me. I explains it was not my blood but from a "fresh" folded towel. He insisted to look at it and when housekeeping brought it to him he looked at it and said, "we are not charging you anything (for the towel). Good day."

Our room looks clean, but smells like dog urine. The manager offered us a different room, but it smelled, also. I won't stay in a motel again that allows pets. New mattresses, older motel. Sprayed Lysol all over room and on carpet, but the smell doesn't go away.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room before you pay for it.

Drove 7 hrs with two foster children on their first real holiday and being six and seven years old the most important part of any trip is the pool at the motel.Imagine the disappointment when on arrival the pool as depicted in the photos is all boarded up and has not been open for a year.Asked for a credit very rudely told no way, pool is not mentioned in amenities it doesn't matter about photos(they might as well show a bar and grill but don't mention it on the ammenities) there is a billboard on the road into town on the washington side and it advertises a pool also.I have emailed Choice Hotels twice and received automated response "will recieve a response within 72 hrs" twice but have not heard anything from them yet and it has been one week today.Moral of the story "ignore the photo section as they can show anything they want and do not have to have it.

The management was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and supplied you with the basic necessities. Bed had seen better days but was still comfortable. The room was a little smaller then most. Breakfast was mostly toaster items and cereal. Good value at $55 per night
