Good: River frontage, gem of a location, good fishing
Bad: Does not even closely meet minimum standards of bed & breakfast, resort, restaurant, store as portrayed...local bar - yes. In need of serious maintenance, deep cleaning, de-cluttering, landscaping and large item trash removal, RV spaces are very very close if fully occupied. Curb appeal is lacking with abandoned vehicles parked in lot, foot bridge rails missing and falling apart, lights burnt out.
Ugly: They need to decide if they are running a business servicing the general public and vacationers as they advertise or a local bar / get together place. I had back-country expectations (not expecting 5 star luxury) and would not return. This isn't about the owner or family not being nice or accommodating as they seem to be both, it is about advertising and saying the place is one thing and arriving to find out it is another.
Overall, the only way I see this place appealing to anyone is the river RV portion in your OWN motorhome or tent when there aren't many other campers or as a large group renting the ENTIRE river RV area ONLY with pavilion and stage area. In no way would I recommend staying at the B&B or visiting any part of the "resort" across the road from the river.
