We stopped in here for breakfast one morning. We had an exceptionally good meal. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The views are really magnificent. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

“Best ribs ever”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

I think the ribs might be a special -- I can't remember if they were on the menu. but, these were the best ribs ever.

But, the price!! Wow! $30 for a plate of ribs. But, there were enough that they could have been split between two people, which would have been much more reasonable.

Also, loved sitting outside next to the river. It was great and the waitress was helpful and attentive and even took our picture (since it was the first day of a long trip with friends).

“Wonderful food in the mountains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

The food was excellent and priced reasonably, the view can't be beat, right on the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. We had a pasta dish and a sausage dish that were delicious. The included salad was superior also. It was one of the best dinners I have had in Island Park. I will be back!

“Best funeral potatoes ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Fresh food fast friendly service, very rustic scenery. This place is located right off the highway and by the river this place is located in fly fishermen haven. It is a must to have their funeral potatoes and curry kale salad. Their menu offers a different variety of food.

“Would certainly return”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

We arrived on a Tuesday night around 6:15. The parking lot was full, and there were people standing outside drinking beers. Since we had already left a restaurant that was full, we were nervous that there would be a long wait, but we had nowhere else to go. We entered to find the restaurant nearly empty. They said that you can’t judge how full the restaurant is by the parking lot. Good to know.

We sat inside, but later noticed that there was outdoor seating. I wish we would have eaten there as the restaurant itself was quite warm. The view was lovely.

We started with some olive bread that was just okay. There wasn’t a lot of flavor.

My son ordered the gnocchi. It was lovely and had lots of veggies. We would certainly order that again.

My husband and son both had the lamb flatbread. The lamb was good, but there was a lot of bread.

Since I was craving ethnic food (hard to find in this area), I ordered the bahn mi. It was spicy (yeah!) and just what I wanted. Again, there was a lot of bread.

We had the Bistro Rouge Wine from WA 2010 and enjoyed it.

This was a really enjoyable meal. We would certainly return.
