“Best place to stay in Idaho Falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

I've been traveling to Idaho Falls for many years and have stayed in most of the hotels there. I was happy to learn that the Residence Inn had finally opened and booked my stay there. Was there for three nights and was very pleased with the location and facility itself. The room was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and the staff was friendly and very helpful, The evening food service was not the quality that I usually find at other RI's. Also one morning there was no coffee ("a problem with the coffee machine"). This is unquestionably the best place to stay in Idaho Falls.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room with a view of the river and falls. It isn't much to look at in the grand s...

Granted it is brand new so the excellent Marriott quality and service continues. With a great view of the river and falls in Idaho Falls and central location, it the perfect place to stay for a little rest and relaxation.

I was very impressed with this new addition to Idaho Falls. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed for business travelers. I found the large desk with lots of convenient electrical jacks to be great to charge up all my gadgets. The wifi is among the fastest I've had in a hotel and made getting work done super easy. I'm not sure I've been this productive on a business trip in a long time. Perhaps the best part of a brand new property is brand new towels and bed linens!

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms on high floors will have the best views of the Snake River.

I stay in a lot of hotels, over all brands and this is by far one of the BEST hotels I have stayed in quite some time. It is brand new with beautiful decor and furnishings. I had a one bedroom suite with a fireplace and it was just gorgeous, with a good view of the falls. The bathroom was huge with a stand up shower and separate tub! The bed was comfortable, the pillows were nice. I could live in this hotel! If you are in the area this is the place to stay.

Wow, a TEN! Thank you so much for your feedback that makes us feel great. We are in the buisness of providing a space that makes our Guest feel as if it were a "home away from home." I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay in our one bedroom suite that offers our warm and inviting fireplace feature. It is definitely an added benefit on those cold Idaho nights.

We love Residence Inns, and this one is brand new (Sept 2012). It is in a perfect location for Idaho Falls, along the river and the falls, across from the old downtown. They have a few bugs to work out, like glass shower enclosures leaking water onto the bathroom floor, and the room air conditioner blowing too strong. But the staff is great and the place sparkles. A perfect stopover en route to/from Yellowstone. Not sure why you'd otherwise be in Idaho Falls...

Thank you for your response. We have installed shower door sweeps to help alleviate the shower water problem. Also we have adjusted the air flow to be more accomidating to our Guests in our suites. Your stay here next time I feel will be much more comfortable and accommodating. Thank you so much for your response and feedback we really appreciated it.
